Ajith Nivard Cabraal (born 14 December 1954)〔(Position: Central Bank Governor of Sri Lanka ), Reuters profile.〕) is the former governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, having resigned his post on 9th January 2015. () ==Career as accountant and consultant== As an accountancy student in Colombo, Cabraal met Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was studying law at Sri Lanka Law College.
